Why I had never known of him before now baffles me. I am a sucker for knits, always have been, always will be. My current style philosophy revolves around anything that looks glamourous but feels like pajamas. I know that sounds like an oxymoron but it’s actually remarkably easy to pull off, especially when wearing knits. By the looks of Markus Lupfer’s designs, I would say he fulfills my requirements.

…dear God, if I didn’t know myself any better I would say I was turning into a total hipster. Ray Bans? American Apparel? Hipster hat(see previous post) hahaha I kid…kind of :/

So, I wasn’t going to post this but Juan Car was teasing me and I am going to go ahead and let him indulge. I get excited about my acquisitions, so I decided to have some fun with my new hat. Vintage  ”Mr. K” perfect shade of seafoam/mint/jade green hat from Buffalo Exchange. Looks nice with my fresh manicure. Having my nails neat and painted make me feel extra ladylike…and big props to my mom for getting me the ring in the photo. it’s pretty amazing and goes with everything. I love it. you can’t tell but its gold wire wrapped all over the band and the setting, sooo dope.

It’s day 3 or 4 of rain here in Houston, with more rain coming for us through the weekend… Hoorah. -_-

…I have a love hate relationship with rainy weather, I love the sound, the smell, the way it makes you want to snuggle up and watch some really good movie with some really good company. However, as my cousin put it today, “it’s fatass weather” because you really don’t want to go anywhere or do anything. Seeing as I lack a gym membership, and I can’t use the park to run, I am stuck. So today I went to the Galleria to kill some time and look at pretty things. I met the coolest lady ever, she collects high end sneakers, high tops preferably. She said she has about 400 pairs in her collection! I got her card; also she is an avid animal activist and a sales rep for her boyfriend’s animal themed jewelry line. I think I will have to check the jewelry and her shoe collection out. While in the shoe department at Neiman Marcus, I saw these babies, who were just dying to come home with me, and if this rainy weather persists, I think they just might have to…
