Ahhhhhh… So much to do, so little time… and yet, still, I cannot find where to begin. There are so many things I need/want to do. I feel like I am in constant struggle between what I should do, and what I actually do. It’s hard to be stretched so thin, in the end your time is distributed to many places with not much left to yourself. Still, I feel like working this hard is making me more motivated and more creative. I guess it must be the fact that I work well under pressure. I have this secret list of goals I would love to accomplish. I guess it’s like they say, “slow and steady wins the race” I just need to be in the race. Anyway, here’s a little bit of beauty I’d like to share.

Not so guilty pleasure

This vid made me miss, NY, Steph DT, cafe con leche, and youth. I am _ this close to booking a flight to NY in February. Luckily I haven’t drank that much wine yet lol. I have never vacationed by myself before and I kind of want to. Except getting lost on subways is scary with someone else, imagine alone :/ eeek… 

…ok I should get to bed. I am trying to get 90% of my Christmas shopping done tomorrow. I decided instead of giving presents that may or may not be stashed away in a corner forever/ regifted, I will use the money to buy a toy for a child for every person on my list that was getting a crappy gift anyway haha. Giving rules!

Kewpie Dolls

I have two teenie tiny Kewpies of my own somewhere, I haven’t seen them for a while so hopefully I can find them. They are one of the few things I can say I have had since I was a baby. Anyway, I don’t know how or why I started thinking about these cuties again but, now I kind of want a variety of them. Even maybe some of the original Kewpie illustrations. These dolls have a quite a history, started out as comic characters in the early 1900′s and grew to become dolls; One of the earliest collectable figures, an early pop culture icon if you will.

Although I think taxidermy is creepy, I am completely in love with “feltidermy”  Cruelty free and at a reasonable price. What’s not to love.

I recently made a decent investment in a new phone… seeing as the one I had before was acting a mess and kept dying on me, I thought it was the perfect time to finally get with the times and buy a tech phone, at least thats what I call them.

Here is my not so knowledgable review:

Everything is pretty cool. The camera of course is awesome for the phone (8 megapixels) My issues are the touchscreen scrolling situation. Maybe I gotta have the right touch, I tend to be heavy handed, but I have a really hard time controlling the scroll screen. Of course it doesn’t help that I have used an Ipod touch and iphone before and the scrolling on that is better than this. But I can say its pretty easy to navigate and figure out. and as previously stated, the camera is great. So in conclusion I would recommend this as a first tech phone to anyone who isn’t impatient with touch screen navigation.
