… I cannot stop listening to Maxwell… and I have yet to buy the new album, but this is only because it was 8.99 then when I go to buy it, the price jumps to 14.99, so basically I am being a cheapo… story of my life. except of course when it comes to food, lets talk about me spending $20 on lunch today!! but it was so good. The Daily Grill in the Galleria has some of the best fish and chips, it also has amazing mac and cheese. I am not a huge fan of the string fries so I sub-ed the “chips” for the amazing mac and cheese. anyways it was sooo good. not to mention the added malt vinegar and their not too mayonaissey tartar sauce… ahhh my mouth is watering.
I can’t believe I just went on a rant about being cheap except when it comes to food. oh yeah and btw I have not forgotten that I need to like be healthy and work out and whatnot, I just really felt like treating myself today. and tomorrow cause me and B have a breakfast date at Baby Barnaby’s. Seriously one of the best breakfasts in Houston. Apparently I am in a food mood. I like that, food mood. lol… I don’t know what’s up with me today. I think it might be that I have worked for 4 days in a row. I think 3 is my limit before I get too loopy. I am very much looking forward to my day off tomorrow, maybe mom and I will go and get a facial or something fun and girly like that… we have both been working hard and deserve a little pampering… which reminds me, Sept.12!! that’s when I leave to Playa del Carmen, a whole week of beachy bliss. I hope. If all fails at least our hotel should be entertaining. or at the very least comfy. Also, I just realized that I am going to Playa del Carmen and my mom’s middle name is Del Carmen. I have been wanting to get a tattoo in her honor, and I was considering her middle name since we both have the same first name and “Mom” is kind of lame. Suggestions?
