December 1992. Grace Coddington and Steven Meisel committed Vogue blasphemy at the time. Featuring grunge inspired designs by Perry Ellis and Marc Jacobs. The end result, although quite controversial at the time proved to be a beautiful, revolutionary, timeless editorial.

After being let go from Dior Homme 5 years ago, Hedi Slimane is back and just as amazing as ever with his debut not only for Yves Saint Laurent but in the womenswear world all together. Somewhere in fashion heaven Monsieur Laurent is doing a happy dance at what Hedi has done with the iconic fashion house. Pretty much every iconic YSL look (Le Smoking, Safari, etc…) has been reworked with a beautiful Parisian biker-goth-gypsy twist. I haven’t been this excited about a collection in a long time, and that hat; THAT HAT! Put in work trickle down theory, I need the affordable version of that floppy safari hat in my life stat! Major props Mr. Slimane.

When you live in a major city like LA or New York, you often have to sacrifice space for location or vice versa. I for instance, live in “the valley” meaning I pay less rent for more space than my inner city friends, but I also have to drive further and withstand a much hotter summer. Still, although I appreciate a good deal, I often find myself wishing I had less space. yeah, LESS space. There is something cozy and streamlined about a small space done right. If you live in a small space, here is a good idea for a 2 in 1 desk/dining table that also makes your space look bigger with a glass table top.
