I love the way he views his luxury items. That he really doesn’t take it too seriously. I have a thing for useless luxury items myself, however I have not yet started a collection. Maybe someday I’ll get that ridiculous Louis Vuitton beach towel, or YSL agenda, or I wonder if Gucci has some shower curtains or something terribly tacky like that for me to covet. Anyway, I hope you take a few minutes to watch this and to be amused.

Its funny to me that I chose these two designers to showcase in this post because they both had such obvious inspirations in their collections; from House of Holland’s Pantone inspired monochromatic looks, to Katrantzou’s perfume bottle prints, both of these designers let their audience know exactly where their mind was when conjuring up these pieces. Personally I was amused but kind of unimpressed by HOH, especially after such a fun Fall 08 collection. As for Katrantzou, I had never heard of her but found her collection to be witty and well thought out.

The Dictionary Issue

Needless to say there is a massive amount of information to be absorbed from this issue. Filled with tons of products, people, brands, websites, and more for you to discover or learn more about. Its a bit pricey at about $20 but it is definitely worth it, this issue is about 2 inches thick!’

We also indulged in a little toy shopping at Domy. B decided to start a wood collection after purchasing Muji’s ” The World”

so we were pleased to add Pecan to the wood family
