A great hair day courtesy of…

My friend Steph, who has the most beautiful curly hair got me hooked on this. All of a sudden a few months ago my hair started turning curly, which is great because I have been obsessed with curly hair for as long as I can remember(I even got a perm once), however I didn’t really know how to handle this new hair of mine, I had been putting it up to keep from looking like Hermoine, thankfully Steph schooled me in some styling, and now my hair dreams are coming true! yayy! It’s really more wavy than anything but I’ll take any texture I can get.  All the Deva Curl products are pretty awesome for defining your hair’s texture if it has any, without leaving it “crunchy” or wet looking. I highly recommend them. And another good tip I learned was to put the product in while your hair is really wet and not fuss with it much after that to prevent frizzing.

Today was an exceptionally beautiful day in Houston, sunny skies, cool breeze, pretty perfect. 

I saw this on my way to work, and it took my breath away. I can’t wait for mine to be full grown and in full bloom, it’s really a spectacular sight.

Also, I saw this in a magazine, and I absolutely love the packaging.

I want it all!

I will be freezing my bum off in NYC in roughly 2 days. I can’t wait to see my dear friend, and enjoy the city. It’s too bad I can’t have a pass to get into all the shows. Maybe its not all that it’s cracked out to be but the idea of being at a real live runway show, sure does sound glamourous.
